Impostor Football — Last updated: September 5, 2026
Impostor Football does not collect personally identifiable information. All game data (player names, scores) is stored locally on your device.
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how the game is played and improve future updates. We also collect anonymous crash and error diagnostics (technical error details only — no personal information) to find and fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is collected — no name, email, or device ID is linked to any event.

Push notifications are optional. If you grant permission, we use OneSignal to deliver notifications. OneSignal receives a device push token (a random identifier issued by Apple or Google that lets us send a notification to your device) and a small set of anonymous tags: language, platform, premium status, and number of games played. These tags are used to send relevant notifications (for example, new content in your language). We may also use anonymous engagement data from PostHog (e.g., how often you've played) to decide which push notifications you receive. No name, email, or other personally identifiable information is shared. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

If you choose to make a purchase, payments are processed by your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We use RevenueCat to manage and verify purchases. Purchase data is not linked to any personally identifiable information. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Premium removes all ads. For everyone else, the app can show optional rewarded videos — which you choose to watch in exchange for a prize — and occasional full-screen ads between games. Ads are delivered by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and its advertising partners, who may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), an approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device information in order to select, limit and measure ads. Whether ads are personalised depends on the permissions you give and on the privacy rules where you live: on iOS you are asked before any advertising identifier is used and you may decline, and where local law requires it you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. Declining does not stop you playing — ads still work, they are simply less relevant. We never share your name, email or game data with advertisers. This app does not require or support user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind.
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our advertising partners apply the protections required for younger users in each region, including limits on ad personalisation. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Unlocking Premium removes ads entirely.
Impostor Football offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium content. All payments are processed securely by your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and are subject to their respective privacy policies (Apple, Google). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.
We use RevenueCat to verify purchase status on-device. RevenueCat receives an anonymised receipt token from the app store to confirm entitlements. No personally identifiable information is shared. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies: revenuecat.com/privacy
Impostor Football is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any football club, league, player, or governing body. No player images, logos, or trademarked materials are used in this app.
