Impostor Basketball stores all game data — including player names and scores — locally on your device. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. See below for details on anonymous analytics and purchase processing.
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the game. This includes:
No name, email, or device ID is linked to any event. PostHog data is used solely to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience.
Impostor Basketball offers in-app purchases through Apple's App Store and Google Play. All purchase transactions are processed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment information. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — no personal data is shared.
Impostor Basketball does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages.
Since no personal data is collected, there is no personal data to retain. Anonymous analytics data is retained by PostHog according to their data retention policies.
Impostor Basketball is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any professional basketball league, team, player, or governing body. All player names and references are used for informational and entertainment purposes only.
